Lovevery Parent Courses

Art Direction for Video and Photography | Set Design | Props | Wardrobe | Planning | Print and Digital Design
Lovevery Courses deliver essential resources for parents to navigate new stages directly through video courses, stage-specific children's books, and comprehensive parent guides. Each Course Pack comprises a toolkit aimed at supporting parents and fostering their children's success.

I had the opportunity to work as AD for the "Food Before One," "Siblings," and "Potty" courses. My responsibilities included creating detailed shot lists for capturing expert A roll, and B roll lifestyle videos, as well as overseeing lifestyle and studio photography needed for the course printed materials.

Because these courses are built on in-depth research and intentional design, it was important to help users understand the value behind what they were seeing.

Props Planning and Set Design
In order to hit the ground running on shoot day, I spend a considerable amount of time in pre production to prep props and scenes ahead of time. Here are a few rooms used in one location.

Print Design and Art Direction
In addition to leading overall art direction for the courses, I designed the companion printed materials, including the Food Before One guide—a comprehensive resource for parents introducing solids to their infants. I partnered closely with copywriters and content teams, reviewing every detail to ensure clarity and accuracy. This role also positioned me to oversee art direction for both lifestyle and in-studio food photography, shaping the visual storytelling.

The project was highly collaborative, bringing together editors, copywriters, infant occupational therapists, and safety experts. Through this partnership, we created a thoughtfully designed, expert-backed guide that supports parents while prioritizing the wellbeing of their children.

Lifestyle and Studio Photography
I art directed and helped style in studio food overhead food shots as well as lifestyle shoot with child and adult talent.

This endeavor was deeply personal for me. At the time of creation, I was navigating the process of feeding my own 10-month-old child. This experience imbued every aspect of the project with a profound sense of dedication and care. It allowed me to approach each shot with a unique perspective, understanding firsthand the significance of each detail during both the planning stages and the actual photoshoot.

This project was a true labor of love, combining my passion for design and art direction with a profound commitment to supporting parents on their journey. From meticulously planning the content to collaborating with experts across different fields, every aspect of this endeavor was driven by a desire to provide valuable, trusted guidance. I hope this resource brings clarity and confidence to parents as they navigate the important milestones of feeding and allergen introduction with their little ones.
