Expert Content for App Developmental Stages
Art direction for video and photo content utilized for Organic Social and within the Lovevery App.
This portfolio piece spans a range of content created to support skills and developmental milestones for kids and parents within the Lovevery app. It includes expert-led video content developed with Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists, as well as photography and content work to level up the app's age bands through 3-year-olds.
My role in projects like this involves extensive preparation, including storyboarding, location scouting, set design, casting approvals, and wardrobe coordination. On set, I serve as the art director, overseeing talent direction, working with photographers and videographers, and styling the set. This content was produced for organic social and the Lovevery app, so after filming I collaborated with the content team and video editor during post-production to refine the videos, providing clear, actionable feedback to ensure the final product aligned with the app's vision.
Expert Content Videos
I partnered with Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists to create age-specific video content for the Lovevery app and use on social.
User Generated Content Style Video
Again partnering with Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists to create age-specific video content for the Lovevery app, this time in a more UGC-style format that's less polished and less expert-focused. This approach leans into a social-native style, using on-screen text and color-block overlays to tell the story and explain the play activity.
Photography
I worked cross-functionally to bring age-specific content to life through intentional photography. When Lovevery expanded into older age bands, I helped build the visual foundation from scratch, producing over 100 new images to support the app. That meant preparing shot lists, selecting props and wardrobe, styling sets, and directing both talent and photographers, then overseeing retouching to bring it all together in post.
This project hit close to home. My daughter was growing up right alongside the age bands I was shooting for, often the exact same age as the kids on set. That gave me a real, lived-in sense of what these moments actually look like, and it shaped how I directed shoots to feel authentic rather than staged.
