Visual Designer -Valve Software-Steam Storefront

Steam is a video game digital distribution service and storefront by Valve boasting the largest digital distribution platform for PC gaming. The service has over 34,000 games with 95+ million monthly users. During my tenure with Steam, we saw a concurrent player count of over 22 million users per day in over 27 countries.

MY FOCUS AREAS: As a designer for Valve’s Steam store my focus was creating marketing collateral to support sales, promotions and events . This included creating static and animated assets optimized for the steam store, social media assets, and in product designs. I designed with international considerations such as localization that supported 27 languages at the time. Other work done for Steam and Valve is classified under NDA but you can see some of my published work below.

The Steam Awards

I supported the Steam Awards 2019, an annual user-voted event recognizing the best video games on Steam, by helping produce and adapt assets for 28 localized languages. This included sale pages, banners, blog images, and social media graphics, ensuring consistency with Steam’s brand while highlighting award-winning games
and driving traffic to the storefront.

Top Sellers

I created monthly recaps of top Steam store releases, designing sale page assets, blog images, social media graphics, and banners that drove traffic to the sales page. Over time, I elevated the creative by making each month’s assets feel unique while maintaining consistency with the overall brand.
