UX | Amazon Storefront

I have a Certificate UX so when I was asked to lead the redesign of the Amazon Storefront and A+ content pages in order to boost sales and direct more attention to featured products I was excited. The store had not be updated in ages and needed a facelift and a look into how the design could best serve the user. At the time the research team noted that most customers entered the storefront through desktop so the first pass at the work was focusing on desktop over mobile.
The new design was a resounding success, leading to a massive 400% increase in traffic and 14,000 additional views just a few weeks after its launch. The "Shop by Stage" infant page saw particularly impressive results, with $41,187.44 in sales since in the first 2 months. Overall, the redesigned storefront has proven to be a major hit, with over 130,000 products sold on Amazon in the first 5 months

Wireframes

I began by visually blocking out sections and developing the look and feel for the next iteration.

Final Pages

I focused on creating a visually appealing and intuitive shopping experience by using age banding and color coding to help users easily find the products they need. This approach allows users to browse by stage while also highlighting key differentiators of featured products.
